KOLKATA/NEW DELHI: Bengal BJP President and Medinipur Lok Sabha MP Dilip Ghosh today made a scathing attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her inhuman approach towards migrant workers and adopting the culture of "politics of violence" against BJP workers .

" I was not allowed to move to Amphan cyclone affected villages by police. Our MLAs, MPs and workers were prevented from providing relief among affected families of Paschimbanga. The state slapped false cases against our leaders. Our MLAs were attacked by TMC goons at Lake Town and other areas, " he said at Jan Samvad virtual rally in Kolkata.

"The state government did not even ensure basic amenities for migrant workers who were quarantined", he pointed out saying "Migrant worker died at a quarantine center recently due to snake bite. No drinking water, no fan, no proper food were given to these workers. We notice inhuman approaches towards these workers."

Taking a swipe at the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Dilip Ghosh said: "You insulted migrants who are sons of this soil. These migrants will now ensure your exit."

The BJP state president also attacked the Chief Minister for mismanagement in the state for failing to tackle Covid-19 and aftermath of Amphan cyclone.

"There is no administration. Health , education and total administration collapsed in Paschimbanga."
