NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired an all-party meeting on the India-China border face-off on Friday.

Sonia Gandhi and Presidents of other parties who were invited attended the meeting. PM made a "national consensus" during the discussion on the border issue to give China a strong message. The Opposition parties made it clear that they were solidly with the Government.

Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee today participated in the all-party meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened the all-party meeting on the India-China border face-off after 20 Indian soldiers were killed and many others were brutally injured recently.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended today’s meeting. Banerjee, the TMC chief, said the Centre’s move to call the all-party meeting to discuss the situation was a right decision.
